Position Overview

We are looking for Front of House (FOH) Assistants and FOH Officers to join our team

  • FOH Assistant (Server/Host) – Ensures seamless guest service, taking orders, serving food, and managing reservations while maintaining a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
  • FOH Officer (Team Leader/OIC) – Oversees daily FOH operations, ensuring efficient service, managing the team, handling customer interactions, and acting as the OIC when on shift.

Both roles require strong customer service skills, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced fine casual dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

For FOH Assistants (Server/Host)

  • Welcome guests warmly, manage reservations, and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Take orders accurately, serve food and beverages promptly, and ensure a smooth dining experience.
  • Maintain clean and well-organized service stations and dining areas.
  • Assist in cashiering duties, handling transactions efficiently.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar team for seamless order execution.

For FOH Officers (Team Leaders/OICs)

  • Oversee daily FOH operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service flow.
  • Supervise and support the FOH team, providing guidance and motivation.
  • Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and staff performance.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Manage reservations, oversee table turnover and seating assignments.
  • Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and shift reports.

Qualifications & Skills

For FOH Assistants (Server/Host):

  • At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality role (preferred but not required).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

For FOH Officers (Team Leaders/OICs):

  • At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or senior FOH role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic reporting.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
