Job Description:

We are looking of an organized Shipping Officer who will be responsible in the day to day shipping activities of the company. Assists in order processing and shipping arrangements for the importation of items. Facilitates timely and clear coordination and communication with concerned groups to provide update on the status of shipment.

  • Communicates with the supplier to ensure proper monitoring of orders and deliveries.
  • Organizes and arranges with local custom broker/forwarder the incoming shipment to ensure on-time release.
  • Communicates with concerned groups (Inventory Management Group, Sales Groups and Warehouse) the order confirmation and shipment status.
  • Processes replacement claims with insurance company for damages incurred during shipment.
  • Updates and safe keeps shipping files/records in order to monitor status of shipping activities.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of 4- year Custom Administration/ Business courses
  • Knowledgeable in importation procedures and regulations
  • Has (3) years experience in Importation or Shipping.
  • Knowledgeable in Bureau of Customs Requirements
  • Willing to be assigned in Sta. Cruz, Manila
