We design and roll out strategies, optimize ways of working, and hasten our infrastructure products by being a vital part of these products until we attain our aims. As an essential contributor to our Team, you have the chance to enhance the experience of Vestas' infrastructure users and developers.In the Database Management and Platform Team, you will be engineering and improving our infrastructure and database products that are used to provision Vestas' infrastructure solutions. Our department is fully Hybrid, working primarily with Azure Cloud and Enterprise On-Premises data center solutions.Infrastructure Services > DataCenter & Cloud, Engineering and Services (DCES) > IOC ChapterResponsibilitiesIn your position, your primary responsibilities will be to:Automate and script routine database tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventionCreating databases and implementing infrastructure solutions based on business requirementsMonitoring databases and related systems to ensure optimized performancePerforming debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving conflictsEnforce best practices in database security, access control, and compliance standardsInstall, configure, and maintain database systems across on-premises and cloud environmentsOversee the full software development lifecycle - from development to production - including CI/CD integration for database deployments, End-of-Life (EOL) management, and routine housekeepingDevelop and update thorough documentation while also enhancing the team's collective knowledgeQualificationsIndustry experience with exposure to Agile software engineeringPractical experience with fundamental database platform services, particularly in the area of Microsoft SQL ServerSkilled in managing Azure Database PaaS services, including deployment, monitoring, and scalingFamiliarity with PostgreSQL and working knowledge of MongoDBIn-depth understanding of Microsoft SQL Server (to ver.
