Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Must be a licensed Nurse.
  • Willing to be assigned on either Shinagawa LASIK or Shinagawa Healthcare (Diagnostic)
  • Willing to be assigned in Taguig.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtains comprehensive and relevant patient data through: (a) interview; (b) correct obtainment of vital signs, including pain; (c) the use of advanced assessment techniques that are focused or systems-based; (d) correct interpretation of data obtained from monitoring equipment; and (e) correct interpretation of diagnostic results.
  • Maintains complete, accurate, concise, and updated documentation of patient care. Observes procedures and policies pertaining to any aspect of clinical charting and reporting.
  • Encodes patient information in the Clinical Information & Management System.
  • Drafts the medical abstract of the patient upon his/her request and ensures that it is checked and signed by the attending physician before issuance to the requesting patient.
  • Is attentive to the patient's needs; initiates steps that comply with their requirements to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Collects patient feedback and keeps superiors informed regarding problems or issues in patient care within the nursing unit.
  • Develops, executes, and evaluates the established plan of care for specific procedures/patients, such as, but not limited to, care of emergency and trauma patients. Delivers nursing care consistent with the Patient's Bill of Rights (i.e., right to privacy, right to confidentiality, right to refuse treatment).
  • Responds to and provides appropriate nursing action in emergent situations.
  • Collaborates with the entire health care team to provide a safe, integrated, and high-quality plan of care to patients.
  • Observes a high level of confidentiality in all matters related to patient care and delivers nursing care consistent with patient rights.
  • Provides assistance to new doctors on board.
  • Assists in daily operations and may assist the Chief Nurse in the creation or revision of SOPs, policies, and procedures as needed.
  • The staff nurse may be assigned to Shinagawa LASIK as needed by management.
