The Opportunity:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Email & SMS Marketing Representative to own our most direct communication channels with leads and customers. You will be the voice of Playbook in the inbox and via text, responsible for crafting and executing campaigns that drive the entire customer lifecycle—from nurturing new leads and onboarding new users to engaging and retaining our loyal customers. This is a hands-on role for a marketer who loves building automated journeys, writing compelling copy, and using data to get results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution: Design, build, and launch engaging email and SMS campaigns, including promotional newsletters, product announcements, and re-engagement series.
  • Lifecycle & Automation: Develop and manage automated marketing journeys for key segments of the customer lifecycle, such as lead nurturing sequences and new user onboarding flows.
  • Copywriting: Write clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy for email subject lines, body content, SMS messages, and calls-to-action that drive opens, clicks, and conversions.
  • List Management & Segmentation: Manage and segment our email and SMS subscriber lists to ensure messages are highly relevant and targeted. Maintain list hygiene to ensure high deliverability.
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Continuously A/B test elements like subject lines, CTAs, send times, and content to improve key metrics and campaign performance.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on campaign performance, analyzing key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates to derive actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in an email marketing role. Direct experience with SMS marketing is a major plus.
  • Proficiency with a major marketing automation or email marketing platform (e.g., HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Marketo, Mailchimp).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a focus on writing for direct response.
  • Solid understanding of the marketing funnel and how to use email/SMS to guide users through each stage.
  • Experience with list segmentation, building automated workflows, and A/B testing.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with data and able to translate it into actionable improvements.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Bonus Points:

  • Direct experience with SMS marketing platforms (e.g., Twilio, SimpleTexting, Attentive).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization.
  • Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email/SMS compliance regulations.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS, sports tech, or small business-focused company.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php45, Php65,000.00 per month
