We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Essential Functions

  • Perform routine inspections of all school areas—such as buildings, classrooms, laboratories, corridors, restrooms, and campus equipment—to detect any issues and determine required repairs or maintenance.
  • Carry out minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.
  • Maintain outdoor areas (gardens, walkways, fences, gates, and exterior lighting).
  • Oversee and service equipment (air conditioning units, water pumps, generators, etc.).Handle basic preventive maintenance such as lubrication, filter replacement, tightening, and cleaning.
  • Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored, and maintained, .
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages, flooding, leaks, equipment breakdowns, or other urgent repair needs.Provide immediate support in household safety incidents (e.g., fire, water damage, electrical hazards) until professional emergency services arrive.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and household equipment safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
  • Trustworthy, responsible, and able to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18,127.00 per month
