The Field Testing and Material Testing personnel is responsible for conducting on-site and laboratory tests to evaluate the quality, strength, and compliance of construction materials based on industry standards and project specifications. The role ensures that all materials used in the project meet required safety and performance criteria.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology or related technical field (for Engineer level)

  • With or without experience (training will be provided)
  • Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply
  • Familiarity with basic material testing procedures is an advantage
  • Physically fit and willing to work on field assignments and extended hours if needed
  • Can drive (with driver's license) and ride motorcycle
  • Licensed Civil Engineer or Sub-Professional eligibility is an advantage but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field and laboratory tests on concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregates, and other construction materials.
  • Collect, label, and record samples following standard sampling procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain testing equipment, tools, and instruments.
  • Conduct slump tests, compressive strength tests, moisture content tests, compaction tests, and other related procedures.
  • Monitor curing of concrete test specimens and perform scheduled breaks at required intervals.
  • Ensure all test procedures comply with ASTM, AASHTO, DPWH, and applicable industry standards.
  • Maintain safety protocols during field and laboratory operations.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and site personnel for testing schedules and results.
  • Assist in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • File and maintain testing logs and certificates for project documentation.
