Schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to work independently and proactively flag concerns or unusual trends.
  • Comfortable streamlining processes, optimizing working papers, and driving efficiency improvements

Willing to take ownership of:

  • Inventory valuation
  • Financial consolidation and reporting
  • Ad hoc financial analysis
  • Process optimization and documentation

Qualification and requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience, including time at a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm.
  • Direct experience supporting Canadian clients, ideally familiar with HST, WSIB, and ASPE.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Hands-on ability to perform full month-end close, working papers, and multi-entity consolidation.
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Familiarity with Tipalti, Shopify, and Canadian and US sales taxes is a strong asset
  • Available to work full-time with significant EST (Toronto) overlap
  • QBO and Canadian company experience are highly desired/ a must.

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Hands-on ability to perform full month-end close, working papers, and multi-entity consolidation.
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online is required.
