About the role

Megaworld Corporation is seeking a Building Turnover Engineer to join our team in Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful handover of newly constructed buildings to our client, playing a crucial part in maintaining the company's reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting thorough inspections of newly completed buildings to identify and address any defects or non-conformities of the Amenities and Common Areas, functionality and optimum performance of the equipment for the Building Facilities.
  2. Coordinating with construction teams, project managers, and clients to resolve outstanding issues and ensure a seamless turnover process
  3. Developing and implementing checklists and quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction lifecycle
  4. Documenting the turnover process and compiling comprehensive reports for management and clients
  5. Providing feedback and recommendations to improve construction and quality assurance processes
  6. Collaborating with the wider construction team to enhance overall project delivery

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related construction discipline
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a building turnover or quality assurance role within the construction industry
  3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  4. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  5. Proficient in using construction quality management software and tools
  6. Thorough understanding of construction regulations, building codes, and quality standards
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
