We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to oversee and lead the quality assurance and food safety programs across all manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, uphold industry standards, and maintain the highest levels of product quality and safety. This role involves developing corporate QA policies, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate QA strategies, policies, and standards for food safety and quality.
  • Align quality assurance practices with regulatory compliance and industry certifications
  • Serve as the main point of contact for QA issues at the corporate level.
  • Lead and manage internal audits to ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee third-party audits and certifications, addressing any findings and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Stay updated on global food safety standards and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Manage and mentor QA personnel across multiple manufacturing locations, providing training and development.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency in QA practices across all sites.
  • Collaborate with plant-level QA managers to monitor performance and address quality concerns.
  • Monitor product quality metrics, investigate deviations, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and establish preventive measures.
  • Lead initiatives to minimize risks related to food safety and ensure proper documentation of all processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure new products meet quality standards.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify trends, reduce defects, and improve processes.
  • Address customer complaints related to product quality, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
  • Support customer audits and provide required documentation to maintain trust and confidence.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in quality assurance/food safety, with at least [5] years in a leadership role in food manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, USDA) and industry standards (e.g., HACCP, SQF, BRC).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php80,000.00 per month
