Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of proven project management experience in utility-scale solar power plant projects. The successful candidate will lead, plan, and execute all phases of the project lifecycle—from pre-engineering and site preparation to installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

The Project Manager will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations, while effectively managing stakeholders, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in utility-scale solar PV projects (ground-mounted, ≥10 MW).
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, balance of plant, grid interconnection, and testing/commissioning.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and interfacing with regulatory authorities.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to contract specifications.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Willingness to be based on-site or travel frequently to project locations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end execution of utility-scale, ground-mounted solar power plant projects.
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate pre-engineering studies, design reviews, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise site preparation, civil works, installation of solar modules, inverters, transformers, and associated balance of plant.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and final project acceptance.
  • Implement and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards across project sites.
  • Monitor project performance through KPIs, progress reports, and risk assessments.
  • Manage contracts, procurement activities, and technical bid evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with stakeholders including clients, contractors, consultants, government agencies, and local communities.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
  • Lead project team meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management.
