  1. EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT Bachelor's degree in Logistics or college degree in engineering Special Qualification/s: Must possess strong technical skills in transportation and Health, Safety, Environment and Security Must be willing to conduct field work - able to drive with a valid driver's license Must have strong negotiation skills Possesses good skills on investigating incidents A With strong interpersonal skills and has the ability to think and work independently - follow through effectively With clear demonstration of teamwork, flexibility, initiative, adaptability & problem solving capacity and willing to take on additional functions/projects that may be assigned to him by the department manager.

II. WORK EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Work Experience Required:

  1. Oversee compliance of 3rd party contracted haulers and drivers on road safety standards and programs

  2. Respond adequately to problems encountered in road transport safety

  3. Continuously optimize and improve the road transport safety programs

  4. Oversees all VTS violations of drivers and reports generated on time

  5. Define a transport management system in line with FLC guidelines

  6. Plan and organize road transport activities, conducts and assists on road surveys, spot inspections (loading and unloading) and site inspection of new delivery sites

  7. Meet safety objectives, conduct, and record required safety activities (ie. drills and meetings).

  8. Preferably with experience on terminal operations

Description of necessary competencies/qualities for the job:

  1. Regulatory Knowledge - Strong understanding of road transport laws, safety regulations, and industry standards. Ability to interpret and apply government compliance requirements (e.g., permits, licenses, driver hours, vehicle standards).

2.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to assess compliance risks and identify corrective actions, skilled in investigating incidents, non-compliance issues, and developing preventive measures.

3.Attention to Detail - Accuracy in monitoring records, audits, and documentation. Ensures strict adherence to safety and operational compliance requirements.

4.Leadership & Supervisory Skills - Ability to manage and guide monitoring team, haulers and drivers. Promotes a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
