About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Engineering Head to oversee the engineering operations of our Laguna and Pangasinan Plant. As the Regional Engineering Head, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our engineering functions, contributing to the overall success and growth of our business. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cabuyao City Laguna.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the engineering teams across the Laguna region, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices
  • Oversee the planning, coordination and implementation of engineering projects and initiatives to optimise equipment performance, energy efficiency and maintenance
  • Manage and develop a team of skilled engineers, technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Analyse operational data, identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance productivity, reliability and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities with broader business operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements and regulatory requirements, and adapt engineering practices accordingly
  • Champion a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental sustainability across all engineering-related activities

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in an engineering leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing engineering teams
  • Excellent technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement innovative engineering solutions
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills, with the ability to prioritise and allocate resources effectively
  • Proficient in data analysis and using technology to drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Passion for driving operational excellence and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and sustainability
  • Must be willing to work on Saturdays
