I. JOB OVERVIEW

A Logistics Assistant is responsible for making sure that supply, stock, materials, packages and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse efficiently and safely.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare Delivery Receipts (DR), Sales Return Slips (SRS), Packing Lists and Gate Passes

2. Schedule deliveries and dispatch

3. Coordinate with warehouse regarding the availability of finished goods

4. Monitor delivery status, backloads and returns

5. Prepare allocation for toll fees, delivery expense, and Purchase Order (PO) for diesel requirements of delivery trucks

6. Submit all used DR's, GRF for backlogs and returns, and SRS for returns to Accounting group.
