Job Purpose

The Hire to Retire - Employee Engagement Specialist supports the organization's people development initiatives through training, performance management, engagement, and culture-building programs. The role ensures that employees are equipped with the right skills, motivated to perform at their best, engaged in creating a positive workplace, and aligned with the company's core values.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Learning & Development

  1. Design, deliver, and monitor training programs each period to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and employees' Individual Development Plans (IDPs) based on identified competency gaps, performance results, and future business needs.

  2. Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback surveys, assessment results, and performance improvement indicators, and recommend continuous improvements to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

Performance Management

  1. Prepare, analyze, and present performance management reports to provide insights for HR and leadership to ensure data-driven decision-making, timely interventions, and continuous improvement in employee performance. Reports are prepared and presented during midyear and year-end review cycles, with periodic updates as required.

  2. Support leaders and employees throughout the performance management cycle—particularly during midyear and year-end reviews—to ensure fairness, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.

Employee Engagement

  1. Plan and execute engagement initiatives that boost employee morale, teamwork, and overall workplace satisfaction to ensure a positive employee experience, stronger collaboration, and alignment with organizational values.

  2. Gather employee feedback and use data to improve the quality and impact of engagement programs using surveys, focus group discussions, and pulse checks to ensure initiatives remain relevant, effective, and responsive to employee needs.

Culture Building

  1. Champion initiatives that strengthen organizational values and shape a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture through the design and delivery of programs, activities, and communication strategies that actively reinforce company values and create meaningful employee experiences.

  2. Collaborate with leaders to embed core values into daily practices, recognition programs, and communication efforts to ensure consistency of culture across all levels, alignment of employee behaviors with organizational priorities, and sustained reinforcement of a values-driven workplace.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

Work Experience

· Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, or related HR functions.

· Work experience in a shared service center (SSC) environment a plus

Special Skills

· Strong background in culture-building, employee engagement, or change management is an advantage.

· Excellent organizational, reporting, and project management skills.

· Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

· Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS, LMS, or survey/engagement platforms is preferred.
