Automotive Engineer

Location: South Caloocan City

Full-Time | Can Start Immediately

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Automotive Engineer to manage and maintain our vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of basic troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) for vehicles. This position plays a key role in ensuring our vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and cost-efficient to operate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues in light vehicles and trucks
  • Plan and implement scheduled Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS)
  • Prepare and review job orders and service requests based on diagnostics and maintenance schedules
  • Source reliable suppliers, service centers (CASA), and service providers for vehicle parts and repairs
  • Canvass and compare prices to ensure cost-effective and high-quality purchases
  • Supervise in-house or third-party vehicle repairs to ensure safety and compliance with standards
  • Coordinate with drivers and departments on vehicle concerns, usage, and maintenance feedback
  • Monitor the condition of vehicles and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacements as needed
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and legal compliance
  • Handle documentation related to insurance claims and accident reports
  • Assist in developing and implementing fleet maintenance procedures and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical course
  • Knowledge in basic vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Familiar with Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) for various types of vehicles
  • Experience in vehicle fleet management or maintenance is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks
  • Willing to work Monday to Saturday
  • Can start ASAP
  • Preferably residing near or within South Caloocan City
