Automotive Mechanic

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Repairs, maintains/overhauls engine, transmission, under chassis, hydraulic and steering control of all company vehicles.
  2. Performs regular visual vehicle inspection and scheduled maintenance to maintain availability, performance, efficiency, safety and road worthiness.
  3. Checks all vehicle operating and control system complaints by driver and sees to it that they are operational to prevent unnecessary trouble and breakdown.
  4. Performs minor body repair, painting and fabrication works.
  5. Performs roadside assistance to company stalled/damaged vehicle, troubleshooting or repair if required.
  6. Helps in operation of mobiles cranes and other company vehicles if needed.
  7. House keeps shop and cleans equipment.
  8. Informs superior of unavailability of replacement parts and tools necessary for vehicle operation.
  9. Reports to superior any vehicle breakdown specifically recurring ones for proper action or recommend action to prevent it.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a vocational graduate (Automotive course)
  • At least 3-5 years experience in motorpool maintenance
  • Preferably with experience in heavy equipment as well
  • With proven Automotive troubleshooting and Driving skills
  • With available pre-employment requirements
  • Willing to be assigned in Balintawak, QC
  • NO STAY IN
