Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial screening of applicants for Rank & File, Supervisory and managerial positions including scheduling qualified candidates, interviewing and endorsement to requisitioning departments.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates.
- Source and screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate the interview process with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Utilize various sourcing methods including social media, job boards, employee referrals, and other recruitment marketing techniques to build a strong pipeline of candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop customized recruitment plans to meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other organizations to stay informed about industry trends and build a strong talent network.
- Provide guidance and counseling to hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience, from initial outreach to final offer, by providing timely and effective communication and support.
- Negotiate and extend job offers, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process, seeking to find innovative and cost-effective ways to attract and retain top talent.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports on all recruitment activities and results.
- Stay abreast of labor market trends, employment laws and regulations, and best practices in talent acquisition.
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, a proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top talent, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment marketing tools, and various sourcing techniques is also highly desirable.
