Job Summary:

The Industrial Nurse will provide occupational health services to employees at Cargill Joy in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the workforce. This includes conducting health assessments, administering first aid, promoting health programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and immediate medical care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct pre-employment, annual, and periodic health assessments for employees.
  • Maintain and update employee medical records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Implement and promote health and wellness programs, including disease prevention, health education, and immunization campaigns.
  • Participate in safety inspections and support workplace hazard assessments.
  • Collaborate with safety officers, HR, and occupational health physicians to enhance workplace health standards.
  • Monitor and ensure clinic supplies and equipment are adequate and up to standard.
  • Prepare and submit medical reports required by management and regulatory bodies such as DOLE.
  • Educate employees on hygiene practices, ergonomics, and preventive health measures.
  • Actively participate in Health and Safety Committee meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid PRC license.
  • Preferably with OHNAP certification (Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines).
  • Preferably with experience in industrial or occupational health nursing, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of DOLE, OSH standards, and occupational health regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong first aid, assessment, and emergency response skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and effectively collaborate with other departments.
  • Willing to be assigned to Cargill Joy, Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
