We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our faculty team as an Annual Faculty member.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and the ability to create engaging and dynamic learning environments for students.

As a key member of our faculty, this individual will be responsible for teaching medical-surgical nursing courses, developing curriculum, and mentoring students to achieve their academic goals.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students alike.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a learner-centered environment that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices
  • Mentor students to achieve academic success and prepare them for careers in medical-surgical nursing
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development
Requirements:
  • Earned master's degree in nursing or related field from accredited institution
  • Geriatric certification preferred
  • Teaching experience at baccalaureate or higher level
  • Unencumbered California registered nurse license or eligibility
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in nursing or related field from accredited institution
  • Experience working with leadership in healthcare and academic institutions
