IT Supervisor

About the role

As the IT Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc in Lipa City, Batangas. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the company's technology infrastructure, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.What you'll be doing

Manage and supervise the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship and performance management

Oversee the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems, applications and hardware

Collaborate with department heads to identify and address technology-related needs and requirements

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices to ensure data security and regulatory compliance

Plan and coordinate technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective change management

Analyze and report on IT performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement

Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and escalations

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment

Strong technical expertise in managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases and software applications

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on professional development

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Familiarity with IT security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
