Job Summary

The Retail Sales Staff is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting shoppers, promoting products, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and fully stocked. The role supports day-to-day store operations, contributes to sales goals, and helps maintain a positive shopping experience for all customers.


Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products based on their needs.
  • Provide product information, recommendations, and demonstrations when necessary.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure a pleasant and efficient shopping experience for all customers.
Sales Support
  • Promote products, ongoing promotions, and new arrivals to drive sales.
  • Achieve assigned daily or monthly sales targets.
  • Upsell and cross-sell items to maximize store revenue.
  • Assist with customer purchases and guide them through the checkout process.
Store Operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, shelves, storage, and cashier area.
  • Replenish stocks and ensure products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Conduct basic inventory tasks such as stock counting and monitoring low-stock items.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries and storing items accordingly.
Cashiering (if assigned)
  • Operate the POS (Point-of-Sale) system accurately.
  • Handle cash, card, and digital payments securely.
  • Issue receipts, process exchanges/returns following store guidelines.
  • Ensure proper end-of-day cash balancing.
Compliance & Standards
  • Follow store policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.
  • Adhere to proper grooming and uniform standards.
  • Support company initiatives, events, and store merchandising plans.

Qualifications
  • At least a High School graduate
  • Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is an advantage but not required. Open to No Experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic, friendly, and customer-oriented.
  • Basic math skills and comfort with using POS systems.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
