What The Day Will Look Like

• Develop and implement collection strategies tailored to the Asian market to maximize recovery rates and minimize bad debt.
• Lead and manage a team of collection specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and analyze collection metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to debt collection.
• Collaborate with finance and customer service teams to resolve complex collection issues.
• Prepare regular reports on collection activities and performance for senior management.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, insurers and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and negotiation.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in collection management.

The Collection Leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize collection strategies and improve cash flow.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• At least 7-10 years of experience in credit and collections management, with a significant portion of that time spent in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience Accounts Receivable and collection management, preferably within the Asian market.
• Regional Experience: Experience working within the Asian market is highly desirable, as it provides familiarity with regional business practices and cultural nuances.
• Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to manage employees in various locations across Asia.
• Integration and Reporting: Experience in integrating collection processes with ERP systems and generating reports to analyze collection performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
