Job Description

We are seeking a QA Tester with 5–8 years of experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) within the Banking & Insurance domain. The role involves test case detailing and execution aligned with business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Hands-on expertise in TOSCA and experience with tools like JIRA are essential. Exposure to teller or financial transaction systems is a plus.

  • Detail and execute SIT Test Cases in alignment with signed-off business and functional specifications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing using TOSCA.
  • Conduct API and database testing with a strong focus on SQL.
  • Report and manage defects effectively through tools like JIRA or Micro Focus ALM.
  • Engage in test planning, strategy formulation, and risk management activities.
  • Prepare test documentation including reports and reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to established STLC processes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and deliver tasks autonomously.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in SIT and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of Banking & Insurance applications; familiarity with teller or financial transaction systems (Nice to Have).
  • Proficient in TOSCA; knowledge of Selenium, Java, UFT (Good to Have).
  • Expertise in API Testing, database testing, SQL, and defect management.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, TM4J, Xray, Zephyr, IBM Rational Quality Manager, Micro Focus ALM, QAComplete.
  • Strong skills in test planning, reporting, reviews, and risk management.
  • Capable of autonomous task delivery with proactive contribution to process improvement.
