Basic Environmental Systems and Technologies, Inc. (BEST)
specializes in waste collection, transport, and storage, engineered sanitary landfill development, operation and maintenance, site rehabilitation and remediation, waste recycling and recovery, waste treatment and disposal, wastewater treatment, equipment supply and installation, waste reduction, pollution prevention and control, environmental monitoring assessment and evaluation and environmental consciousness training to provide avenues for total waste solutions.

The Sustainability Resources Officer will be under the Trash to Cashback Program of BEST. He/She will responsible for the following:

  • Manages and maintains an accurate inventory of all project materials (including but not limited to tents, kiosks, project incentives, prizes, etc.)
  • Ensures proper storage, security, and organization of project supplies.
  • Oversees the distribution of project materials to staff and maintains records.
  • Administers, reconciles, and liquidates the project petty cash fund.
  • Distributes petty cash in accordance with established procedures and receipts.
  • Verifies and ensures the complete and accurate liquidation of all financial advances.
  • Releases materials to Sustainability Representatives and Corporate Sustainability Associates, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
  • Receives and accounts for returned materials from Sustainability Representatives and Corporate Sustainability Associates.
  • Conducts regular reconciliations of materials issued and returned for sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports on material usage, petty cash, and liquidation status.
  • Other duties assigned by the Chief Sustainability Officer.

Preferred:

Applicants with a background or knowledge on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), warehousing, and project management are highly preferred but not required.
