The
Data Architect
is responsible to design and optimize CCEAP's enterprise data infrastructure. In this role, you'll lead the development of scalable data models, ensure data integrity and security, and collaborate across teams to align data architecture with business goals. You'll play a key role in shaping how data is captured, stored, and leveraged to drive insights and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Design & Leadership

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies and platforms to support current and future needs.
  • Drive the modernization of legacy data systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and trends in big data, AI/ML, and cloud computing.

2. Governance & Standards

  • Define and enforce data architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Implement data governance frameworks, including data quality, metadata management, and lineage.
  • Establish data security and access controls to protect sensitive information.
  • Establish policies for data quality, security, retention, and stewardship.
  • Track performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system reliability.

3. Execution & Optimization

  • Design and oversee the implementation of data models, pipelines, and storage solutions.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to optimize data infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Mentor data engineers and analysts to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Role Requirements:

  • Preferably a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience
  • Expertise in data modeling, pipeline design, and storage technologies.
  • Proven track record in data architecture, ETL processes, and working with big data technologies
  • Knowledge of data security, data repositories, and scientific data environment
  • Familiarity with AI/ML ecosystem services
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.
