About The Role
As a Medical Operations Lead/Manager, you will be part of an innovative cross-functional team working to transform the delivery of patient care services in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This strategy and execution-focused role blends people management, systems thinking, and service innovation to lead and grow our healthcare service delivery verticals, starting with Teleconsults, Annual Physical Exams (APEs), and Onsite Medical Services.
You will play a key leadership role in shaping our operations team, improving efficiency and quality, and building scalable processes as Hive expands into more healthcare services over time. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Hive leadership to develop and manage healthcare provider relationships, facilitate differentiated patient care experience, and provide direct input into product feature improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Optimize Current Service Lines
- Oversee daily operations for teleconsults, APEs, and vaccinations, ensuring SLAs, quality, and cost-efficiency are met
- Work with teams to align operational workflows with medical standards
- Manage schedules, workforce planning, and process improvements across verticals
- Monitor performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks using data
- Drive Strategic Growth
- Identify opportunities to scale existing services or launch new offerings
- Build operational processes, run pilots, and operationalize new services in collaboration with product and leadership
- Proactively assess risks and develop mitigation plans as the service portfolio expands
- People & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor a growing team of coordinators and specialists
- Build strong relationships with external healthcare providers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between operational goals and company objectives
- Systems Thinking & Process Development
- Build and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalation protocols
- Recommend tools and automation to improve turnaround time, visibility, and quality
- Maintain feedback loops from patients, doctors, and CS teams for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations or tech-enabled service delivery, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or team lead role
- Strong analytical and process-thinking skills
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Creative, detail-oriented, proactive in problem solving and identifying opportunities
- Curious, results-driven, ownership mentality with growth mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for innovation in healthcare
