About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join the dynamic team at PHILBLANC COMPANY'. As an Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetic and functional design of residential and commercial spaces. Based in Davao City, Davao del Sur, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting projects and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborating with clients to understand their design vision and requirements
  2. Conceptualising and developing innovative interior design solutions that are both visually appealing and functionally efficient
  3. Preparing detailed design plans, specifications, and mood boards to effectively communicate design concepts
  4. Sourcing and selecting appropriate furniture, fixtures, finishes, and décor to bring the design to life
  5. Overseeing the implementation of design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards
  6. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the interior design industry
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in a design consultancy or architectural firm
  3. Strong proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative skills
  5. Ability to translate client requirements into innovative and functional design solutions
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
  7. Strong project management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines and budgets
  8. Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and harmonious interior spaces
