Job Summary :

The General Purpose Worker (GPW) helps with vessel operations like docking, lashing/unlashing containers, and ensuring safety. They also assist in warehouse tasks such as container stuffing/stripping and other terminal duties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on time and report to the dispatcher.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and observe safety rules.
  • Secure and release mooring lines during docking/undocking.
  • Handle container lashing/unlashing, twist locks, and signal communication.
  • Report any damages.
  • Assist with CFS warehouse container work.
  • Perform any other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate with at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Can read, write, follow instructions.
  • Physically fit, good eyesight.
  • Willing to work in tough conditions and night shifts.
  • Preferably with drivers license (A,B, C, CE / 1, 2, 3, 8)

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 – 45 per week
