Your Role in a Nutshell

Be part of our client's team as a QA Engineer. You'll test web, mobile, and backend systems, hunt down bugs, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Your work will directly impact thousands of businesses, enhancing experiences for retail and hospitality users across the globe.

What You Bring to the Table

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in manual testing, automated testing, and writing test cases.
• Has written test cases from scratch based on requirements or walkthroughs from product owners or users.
• Experience in testing both web-based and desktop applications (Windows).
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation, if needed.
• Experience in CI/CD integration.

• Detail-oriented and able to notice even small imperfections or glitches.
• Has a sound understanding (or willingness to learn) of the business perspective to be able to create effective functional tests.
• Able to think outside the box to catch and predict unexpected scenarios.
• Able to communicate with both business and technical team members for a better understanding of issues and requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and/or backend applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing on new and existing features.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like Jira and Google Docs.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Perform regression, integration, performance, and smoke testing.
• Participate in agile development processes (scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test data, reports, and test coverage metrics.
• Contribute to the overall QA strategy and improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of data across internal systems to support reliable operations and informed decision-making.
• BONUS: Ensure software quality through continuous integration and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
