A site engineer in construction oversees and manages the daily engineering work at a construction site, ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget. Their responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and supervising various aspects of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities of a Site Engineer:

Developing and implementing construction plans, including site layouts, material specifications, and work schedules.

Overseeing construction crews, subcontractors, and other professionals on site, ensuring they are adhering to project specifications and safety regulations.

Monitoring the quality of materials and workmanship, inspecting work in progress, and identifying and resolving any issues.

Communicating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.

Providing technical guidance and advice to the construction team, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards.

Ensuring that safety regulations and procedures are followed on site, including the implementation of safety measures and the conduct of safety inspections.

Preparing site reports, maintaining records of project activities, and documenting progress.

Assisting with cost estimation, tracking expenditures, and ensuring the project stays within budget.

Identifying and resolving technical issues, delays, and other challenges that arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Above average oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to work on a Project-based engagement (chance of getting regular)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
