Cost Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyze cost reports, including production costs, material costs, and labor costs
  2. Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify areas for cost savings and operational improvements
  3. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate cost projections
  4. Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate cost data
  5. Implement and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures
  6. Provide recommendations to management on cost-saving strategies and process improvements
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cost accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing or production industry
  2. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and budgeting
  3. Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  6. Experience in implementing and maintaining cost accounting systems
  7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
