About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our wedding editing team. In this role, you will manage the complete editing workflow—from initial image download through final gallery delivery—ensuring every client receives a beautiful, cohesive collection of their special day. You will be paid on a per-project basis. You will be expected to complete 1 wedding per day for an average of at least 5 completed weddings per week. Pay: $25 to $30 per wedding project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Download and organize complete collections of unedited RAW images from each wedding (typically 3,000 to 6,000 photos per event)
  • Carefully review and cull the collection down to approximately 800 final images
  • Exercise professional judgment to include all images clients would expect or want to receive—no arbitrary minimums or maximums
  • Edit images using our established presets in Adobe Lightroom
  • Perform essential adjustments including exposure, shadows, highlights, tint, white balance, noise reduction, cropping, and straightening
  • Ensure consistency and quality across the entire gallery
  • Deliver polished, client-ready galleries on schedule

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a photo editor, preferably in wedding photography
  • Strong understanding of wedding photography standards and client expectations
  • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom
  • Excellent eye for detail and consistency
  • Ability to make sound judgment calls when culling and selecting images
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines
