Responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate and prompt financial statements, books of accounts and management reports which serve as basis for the monthly, quarterly and annual review and evaluation of company operations.

Specific duties

  • Maintains original books of accounts and prepares financial reports for Ticketnet.
  • Analyzes financial statement items with material changes or movements from previous year.
  • Prepares reliable and accurate cost reports of existing programs/projects in coordination with Purchasing and other involved Departments.
  • Handles fixed assets accounting and runs depreciation expense monthly in the system.
  • Prepares analysis reports to explain variances between actual and budgeted amounts for major expenses such as labor, utilities and R&M. Replies to concerns and queries of Operations.
  • Conducts regular review on Profit and Cost Center reports (P&L).
  • Checks and validates the Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure charging to proper GL account and cost center.
  • Provides appropriate coaching, mentoring and motivation to team members.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Chief Accountant.

Qualifications

  • CPA is preferred
  • Has relevant experience in preparation of financial statement
  • Experience in handling BIR audits is a plus
  • Has familiarity in accounting/ ERP like SAP is an advantage
