About the role

Airmix Enterprise Construction Incorporated is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical Engr.) to join our team in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimations and effective project management.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for mechanical engineering components of construction projects
  • Analysing technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify and quantify necessary materials, labour, and equipment
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to optimise cost-effective solutions
  • Monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures, and providing regular cost reports
  • Identifying potential cost savings and recommending process improvements
  • Assisting with the procurement of materials and services to support project delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar cost estimation role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, construction practices, and cost estimation techniques
  • Proficiency in using relevant software, such as CAD, project management, and cost estimation tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to project management
