Technical Support Engineer supports and maintains active network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points in a service provider network. You will assist with basic configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of customer and internal network equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, ECE, or related field

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting enterprise or ISP-grade networking equipment

  • Has knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JunOS, or similar platforms

  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, trunking, static and dynamic routing

  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot escalated issues on active devices: VLAN misconfigurations, routing problems, interface flaps

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to network protocols, and equipment configurations

  • Conduct performance monitoring and analysis to identify bottlenecks, optimize network performance, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking

-Coordinate with field engineers for on-site support and remote provisioning

  • Maintain firmware and configuration backups

-Maintain and update documentation on technical processes

-Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
