About the role

ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE' is seeking an experienced Cake Baker to join our bakery team in Malate Manila City. This full-time role is responsible for the preparation and baking of high-quality cakes and pastries to delight our customers. As a Cake Baker, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for delicious baked goods and excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, including customised orders, to the highest standards
  2. Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery
  3. Assist with the decoration and presentation of cakes to create visually appealing final products
  4. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the production manager
  5. Maintain a clean and organised work area in adherence to health and safety regulations
  6. Contribute to the development of new cake recipes and product innovations
  7. Provide excellent customer service, answering enquiries and addressing any concerns

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Cake Baker or similar role within a commercial bakery or kitchen environment
  2. Excellent baking skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure consistent quality
  3. Strong knowledge of cake ingredients, recipes and production techniques
  4. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  5. Good communication and customer service skills
  6. Passion for baking and a commitment to delivering exceptional products
  7. Appropriate food hygiene and safety certifications
