About the role

Good Pastry Café, a leading bakery in BF Homes Paranaque City Metro Manila, is seeking a skilled and experienced Master Baker to join our team. As a Master Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all baking operations, ensuring the production of high-quality pastries, breads, and other baked goods. This is a full-time position, and you will play a crucial role in maintaining the café's reputation for excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement recipes for a variety of baked goods, including breads, cakes, pastries, and more
• Supervise and train a team of bakers and pastry chefs to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
• Monitor and maintain the proper functioning of baking equipment and ovens
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with the management team to create new and innovative products
• Manage inventory and order necessary ingredients and supplies
• Provide input on product pricing and marketing strategies

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Master Baker or in a similar role within the baking industry
• Proven track record of leading a team of bakers and pastry chefs
• Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to create and execute recipes for a wide range of baked goods
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Passion for the art of baking and a commitment to quality
