Job Overview

The BIM Modeler is a member of the production team responsible for creating the majority of the drawings for a project. The role works closely with the BIM Job Captains and BIM Manager to produce drawings with the highest level of detail and accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the BIM Job Captains and BIM Manager.
  • Revise models based on model reviews and ensure accuracy of the models.
  • Adhere to BIM execution plans and BIM project workflow criteria.
  • Produce accurate construction documents from BIM models.
  • Conduct initial clash analysis and document BIM clash and design issue reports for review by the Job Captain.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Architecture or any Engineering course – with or without a license.
  • At least 1 year of work experience using Revit.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software.
  • Preferably with plan reading knowledge in at least one AEC discipline.
