We are looking for a passionate and experienced art educator to lead our teaching team and help shape the artistic journey of our young students.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher Manager who is not only a skilled artist but also a natural leader. This unique role combines hands-on teaching with managerial responsibilities. You will be responsible for guiding our team of art teachers, developing engaging curricula, and ensuring the highest quality of art education across all our classes. You will teach your own classes while also coaching and supporting other teachers.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of art teachers, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and workshops to share best practices in art education.
• Observe classes and provide constructive feedback to teachers to help them improve their teaching skills.
• Assist with teacher scheduling, resource allocation, and managing daily teaching operations.

Curriculum & Quality Assurance:

• Develop, review, and enhance our art curriculum to ensure it is age-appropriate, creative, and engaging for children.
• Ensure teaching quality and consistency across all classes and age groups.
• Manage art supplies inventory and source new materials to support curriculum goals.

Teaching & Instruction:

• Teach art classes to children of various age groups, serving as a model of excellent instruction.
• Create a joyful, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where children feel encouraged to express themselves.
• Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and studio programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching art to children.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, management, or supervisory role (e.g., head teacher, team lead, curriculum coordinator).
• Strong demonstrated skills in various art techniques and mediums (e.g., drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate both children and adults.
• A deep passion for child development and art education.
• Fluent in English.
