Position Summary

The Director of Sales & Marketing provides strategic leadership and direction to the Sales and Marketing Division. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives that maximize revenue growth, strengthen market positioning, and drive overall profitability across all managed properties and business units.

The position directly oversees all corporate sales and marketing staff, including the Director of Sales, Sales Managers/Executives, and Sales Coordinator, whose primary responsibility is to represent and support the sales and marketing efforts of the company's managed properties. The Director ensures full alignment between property-level sales initiatives, corporate strategies, and overall brand direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement company-wide sales and marketing strategies aligned with corporate goals and targets.
  • Oversee all sales, marketing, and revenue generation activities across properties.
  • Guide the corporate sales team in achieving KPIs, managing accounts, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Establish pricing structures, promotions, and packages to maximize occupancy and profitability.
  • Build and maintain a broad network of industry contacts to generate leads and partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure alignment between online campaigns, promotions, and sales objectives while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with Property General Managers and Sales Teams to align local strategies with corporate direction and ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints.
  • Partner with Operations, Revenue Management, and Finance to ensure cohesive planning, pricing, and performance monitoring.
  • Must be willing to travel for business development, client meetings, and site inspections as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Extensive experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry or related field.
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies, managing teams, and delivering strong revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of OTA management, corporate accounts, MICE, digital marketing, and revenue optimization.
  • Possesses an extensive professional network of contacts and partnerships beneficial to business development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Willing to travel and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment.
