Director of Revenue

The Director of Revenue is responsible for driving total revenue performance across all managed hotels through strategic pricing, distribution, and system optimization. This role oversees the Property Management System (PMS), Central Management System (CMS), and leads the onboarding and integration of new management hotels. The Director will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure revenue strategies align with the company's growth and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy, and total hotel revenue.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to dynamically adjust rates and inventory.
- Oversee rate loading, channel management, and pricing consistency across PMS, CMS, and OTAs.
- Supervise the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of PMS and other related systems (e.g., channel managers, CRS, CMS).
- Recommend system enhancements that improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and revenue visibility.
- Ensure data accuracy, proper system integration, and synchronization across online distribution channels.
- Work closely with General Managers, Sales, and Marketing teams to align pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies.
- Mentor and guide property-level staff on revenue management best practices and system usage.
- Represent the company in vendor and system partnership discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OTA partners, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and distribution partners.
- Negotiate preferred agreements, promotions, and visibility campaigns to increase booking volume.
- Collaborate with the marketing and partnerships teams to develop joint campaigns that drive incremental revenue.
- Identify new distribution or B2B opportunities (banks, associations, loyalty programs) that align with company revenue objectives.
- Prepare regular performance reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for all managed properties.
- Evaluate property performance and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel revenue management, preferably across multi-property portfolios.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Hotelogix, channel managers (e.g., STAAH, SiteMinder), and booking engines.
- Proficiency in CMS, OTA extranets, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
