What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating field activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  2. Conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise
  3. Liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  4. Preparing detailed reports, documentation, and technical specifications to support project management and decision-making
  5. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians on the team
  6. Collaborating with the design team to troubleshoot and optimize engineering solutions

What we're looking for

  1. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 1 year of practical experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex civil or structural engineering projects
  4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
  6. Proficient in project management tools and software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and the Microsoft Office suite
  7. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
