We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Associate to develop and manage relationships with Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering (HORECA) establishments across the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our premium-quality vegetables to commercial food service operations, driving revenue growth while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new HORECA clients including hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and institutional food service providers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive chefs, food and beverage managers, and purchasing decision-makers
  • Present product offerings, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals to meet monthly and quarterly targets
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand menu requirements and seasonal demands
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations

Account Management:

  • Manage existing client portfolio to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely delivery and product quality standards
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain strong relationships
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor activities and pricing strategies.

Product Knowledge & Quality Assurance:

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of vegetable varieties, seasonality, nutritional benefits, and culinary applications

- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and availability of premium produce

- Educate clients on proper storage, handling, and preparation techniques

- Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in food service, HORECA, or agricultural products
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse clients
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
  • Proficiency in English and Filipino; additional local languages an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of vegetables, food preparation, and culinary trends
  • Computer literacy including MS Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory

Field-based role with extensive travel to client locations:

- Flexible schedule including early morning market visits and evening restaurant calls

- Some weekend and holiday work may be required

- Territory coverage may include Metro Manila and surrounding provinces
