Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network & Systems Support Engineer to handle high-volume ticket queues, perform OS upgrades and patching, manage firewall requests, and maintain network security policies. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Palo Alto, Cisco wireless, and Arista data center switches, as well as expertise in security standards such as CIS Benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Queue & Ticket Management: Handle and resolve up to 100 tickets per day, ensuring timely escalation when needed.
  • Incident & Problem Resolution: Provide Level 2 support for network and system issues, collaborating with Level 1 and Level 3 teams.
  • OS Upgrade & Patching: Perform scheduled operating system upgrades and apply necessary security patches.
  • Firewall Administration: Process firewall requests, including rule creation, modifications, and deletions.
  • Policy Management: Open, close, and maintain network and security policies in compliance with company standards.
  • Security Standards Compliance: Implement changes from NIS standards to CIS Benchmarking requirements.
  • Network Device Management: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco wireless solutions, and Arista data center switches.
