Job Description:

● Performs any combination of following duties to maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition: Sweeps and mops floors.

● Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.

● Scraping food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses, washing dirty dishes, and putting them away.

● Assisting with sweeping, mopping, and polishing the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and equipment.

● Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.

● Steam-cleans or hoses-out garbage cans.

● Sorts bottles, and breaks disposable ones in a bottle-crushing machine.

● Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand.

● Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashingmachine.

● Polishes silver, using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.

● Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces.

● Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of a hand truck.

● Set up banquet tables.

● Wash and peelvegetables, using a knife or peeling machine.

● Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.

Requirements:

● Must adhere to specific scheduled work hours, yet be flexible if circumstances require it.

● Perform assigned duties under pressure (time constraints).

● A friendly, polite, and courteous nature.

● Strong customer service and team working skills.

● Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet.

● The flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

● Must be able to carry heavy pots or any kitchen wares

● Preferably (M)(A)(L)(E) ONLY
