About the Role

We are looking for a Product Data Specialist to support our Product Description Enrichment Project for Totaline. The role is responsible for reviewing, standardizing, and enriching product names and descriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the company's product database and e-commerce platforms.

This is ideal for individuals who are highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with large data sets and technical product information.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review and standardize product names and descriptions using established naming conventions and formatting guidelines.
  • Expand abbreviated or coded product titles into clear, descriptive, and searchable names.
  • Verify and cross-reference product details with supplier catalogs, technical data, and internal reference sheets.
  • Encode and prepare enriched product data for upload into the website CMS or master list template.
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Totaline standards.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Technical teams for clarification of product details when necessary.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling large data sets.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and online collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into clear product descriptions.
  • Good coordination and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Management, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
  • With 1–2 years of experience in data entry, data management, or e-commerce product catalog maintenance.
  • Experience handling technical or parts-based product information (e.g., equipment, SKUs) is an advantage but not required.
