Job Purpose

The Production Supervisor at FoodCrafters Inc. is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing lines to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality food production. This role ensures that production schedules are met, products comply with food safety and quality standards, and resources are utilized effectively. The supervisor leads the production team by promoting discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement aligned with company goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise production staff and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Food Safety Standards.

Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and corrective actions.

Oversee adherence to workplace safety standards and company policies.

Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members to enhance skills and performance.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth flow of raw materials and finished products.

Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, wastage, and manpower utilization.

Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize wastage.

Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with 5S practices in the production area.

10.    Participate in company initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field preferred.

·       Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in food manufacturing or FMCG industry.

·       Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

·       Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

·       Proficient in MS Office and production-related software systems.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting schedules.
