The Production Worker is responsible for supporting the daily manufacturing operations by operating assigned machines, performing manual production tasks, ensuring food safety and product quality, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The role ensures compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Production Operations
- Operate production equipment and tools based on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform tasks such as sorting, mixing, weighing, packing, labeling, and sealing products.
- Follow exact production specifications, batch formulas, and work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities, defects, or downtime.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and Food Safety Standards.
- Conduct visual inspection of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Maintain proper documentation such as production logs, quality checklists, and material usage.
- Immediately report any contamination risks, foreign materials, or quality deviations.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment before, during, and after operations.
- Follow sanitation schedules and cleaning procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clutter-free work area.
- Follow safety rules, proper PPE usage, and hazard reporting procedures.
- Assist in implementing safety protocols such as Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) when required.
- Participate in safety drills and required training sessions.
- Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and other line workers for smooth workflow.
- Assist in line changeovers, material replenishments, and equipment adjustments.
- Support other production lines or tasks when assigned.
3. Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent; vocational/NC II certification is a plus.
- Experience in food manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate machinery and follow technical instructions.
- Physically fit; able to stand for long hours and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willing to work in shifting schedules, weekends, or overtime as needed.
