Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management, or any related course
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in accounting or payables processing
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting systems/software
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized in handling financial documents
  • Possesses good communication and coordination skills
  • Can work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
  • With knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls

Job Description:

  • Process and verify invoices, check vouchers, and payment requests
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting documents before payment processing
  • Maintain an updated accounts payable ledger and monitor due dates for timely disbursements
  • Prepare check payments, online transfers, or other modes of payment as required
  • Reconcile vendor statements and supplier accounts
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of all payables-related transactions
  • Assist in month-end closing and preparation of payables reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
